Before you make a pledge

• Submitting a pledge does not move money.
• Equipledge does not charge your pledged amount.
• After the drive closes, Equipledge calculates how much of your pledge is provisionally matched.
• You must complete the applicable transactions through the personalized links you receive.
• The matched portion is completed as a charitable donation.
• Any unmatched portion follows the fallback you selected when making the pledge.
• Some participants may not complete their transactions.
• Published results distinguish between pledged, provisionally matched, completed, and verified amounts.
• Equipledge does not hold or transfer political or charitable donations.
• The tax treatment of a charitable donation depends on your circumstances. Consult a tax adviser when necessary.

If you selected a political fallback, you will receive a separate link for the unmatched portion. If you selected a charity fallback, your charity link will include both the matched and unmatched portions.
